is a national organization with chapters throughout the United States and Israel. We in Oregon have been a chapter for 15 years, emerging from "Oregonians for Israel" when the need for greater action was demanded as a result of impending danger to Israel. From its beginning it has been the Zionist organization of  Christians and Jews in Oregon totally committed to the sanctity of the Jewish homeland with Jerusalem as its eternal capital. We assumed responsibility for educating our community's citizens to Israel's history and to recognizing the need to defend the Jewish-Christian heritage our nation is built on.

As a result of our activities we were befriended by Oregonian political leaders and gained their support for Israel, our only democratic friend in the Mid-East. In acting on Israel's behalf we initiated a radio program several years ago which is heard on 1330 am four times  a week with interviews of local and visiting international leaders to to share their information and insight. For the last several years we have produced a publication "The Israel Alert" which is distributed to libraries, churches, synagogues and other public places. We hold monthly membership meetings at a local synagogue, have internationally known speakers from Israel,and have many events yearly such as this year's annual "Pastors/Rabbis Luncheon" with major community leaders and rabbis and pastors as speakers, and our yearly "Dance if You Love Israel" a loved folk-dance affair. We have hosted national Zionist conferences with attendance of representative from AFSI and other organizations from throughout the country and Israel.

All of our efforts are aimed at informing Oregonians of that which binds together Israel and the United States against  Islamic-Fascism, and the   terrorism that confronts us.
